One.Your training and daily intake.

Privacy Policy

How One. handles what you log, and the choices you have.

Last updated 27 October 2026

Who we are

One. is a fitness and daily intake tracker, operated by an independent developer. This policy explains what the app collects about you, why it collects it, and the choices you have. It covers the app on the web and on your phone.

What you give us

  • Account details. Your email address and password, so you can sign in. If you sign in with Google, we also receive your name and email address.
  • What you log. Workout entries (exercise, sets, reps, weight, notes), food and drink entries (calories, macronutrients, optional vitamins and minerals, notes), water, steps, body weight, activity sessions (type, duration, distance, route, notes), goals, and any foods you save to your library.
  • Your settings. Daily targets, units, tracking switches, and your subscription plan.
  • Messages you send us. Your name, email address, and message when you use the contact page.

What the app collects on its own

  • Usage counts. Which screens are opened and how long a session lasts, recorded as plain numbers with nothing that identifies you attached to them.
  • Steps from your phone. Where you allow it, the app reads your phone's motion sensor and stores that day's step count with your entry.
  • Location, only while timing. The activity timer asks before it uses your location, and only then records the points that draw your route and measure your distance.

How we use it

All of it serves one purpose: showing you your own training, intake, and progress. Your logs fill your calendar, totals, streaks, and trends. Your goals are used to measure your progress against them. Your account details are used to sign you in and to keep each person's data separate. Your message is used to reply to you.

What we never do

  • We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
  • We do not use advertising, tracking pixels, or data brokers.
  • We do not link your information with data from other apps, websites, or offline sources, and we do not use it to track you across them.
  • We do not use what you log for research, marketing, or any product other than this app.

When information leaves the app

A few features need an outside service. In each case only the minimum is sent, and nothing that identifies you goes with it.

  • Barcode scanning. The digits of the barcode are sent to Open Food Facts to look up that product's nutrition.
  • Route maps. Your route is drawn with map tiles from OpenStreetMap, which receives the requests your browser makes for the area shown.
  • Our platform. Your entries, files, and account are stored on the Base44 platform, which hosts and runs the app on our behalf.
  • The law. We would disclose information only if we were legally required to.

Who can see your data

What you log belongs to your account and is readable only by you. The developer who runs the app holds administrative access to the stored data, and uses it only to operate, maintain, and support the app. Nobody else is given access.

Where it is kept, and how it is protected

Your data is held on secure servers provided by our hosting platform. Every record is tied to your account and access is restricted at the database level, so another person using the app cannot read or change your entries. Your uploaded files are stored privately and are reachable only through short-lived links created for you.

Keeping it, and deleting it

  • We keep your information while your account exists.
  • You can export everything you have logged at any time from Profile, then Privacy, then Export my data.
  • You can delete your account from Profile, which removes your account and the entries stored with it. If you would rather we did it for you, ask through the contact page and we will delete your data.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. In Australia these requests are handled under the Australian Privacy Principles, and if you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union your rights under the GDPR apply as well. Send any request through the contact page, and if you are not satisfied with our response you may raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Children

One. is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change, this policy will be updated and the date at the top of the page will change with it.
